दिशस तथा मही चैव तथा सर्वे महीधराः उपासते महात्मानं सर्वे जलचरास तथा ॥ २-९-२२ ॥

sanskrit

'The points of the heavens, the Earth, and all the Mountains, as also every species of aquatic animals, all worship Varuna there.' ॥ 2-9-22 ॥

english translation

dizasa tathA mahI caiva tathA sarve mahIdharAH upAsate mahAtmAnaM sarve jalacarAsa tathA ॥ 2-9-22 ॥
