ते तस्यां वरुणं देवं धर्मपाशस्थिताः सदा उपासते महात्मानं सर्वे सुचरितव्रताः ॥ २-९-१७ ॥
'Devoted to noble conduct and exemplary vows, they all await and worship the illustrious Varuna in that mansion, the deity wielding the noose as his weapon.' ॥ 2-9-17 ॥
english translation
te tasyAM varuNaM devaM dharmapAzasthitAH sadA upAsate mahAtmAnaM sarve sucaritavratAH ॥ 2-9-17 ॥
