न कालॊ दण्डम उद्यम्य शिरॊ कृन्तति कस्य चित कालस्य बलम एतावद विपरीतार्थ दर्शनम ॥ २-७२-११ ॥
'Time, which brings about destruction, does not come wielding a club to strike one’s head. Instead, its nature is to make a person perceive evil as good and good as evil.' ॥ 2-72-11 ॥

na kAlò daNDama udyamya zirò kRntati kasya cita kAlasya balama etAvada viparItArtha darzanama ॥ 2-72-11 ॥
