अक्षद्यूते समाह्वानं नियॊगात सथविरस्य च जानन्न अपि कषयकरं नातिक्रमितुम उत्सहे ॥ २-६७-४ ॥

sanskrit

'These outcomes are inevitable, whether I participate in the game or not. This invitation to play is also the command of the old king. Although I know it may lead to my ruin, I cannot refuse.' ॥ 2-67-4 ॥

english translation

akSadyUte samAhvAnaM niyògAta sathavirasya ca jAnanna api kaSayakaraM nAtikramituma utsahe ॥ 2-67-4 ॥
