एतत कृत्यतमं राजन्न अस्माकं भरतर्षभ अयं हि शकुनिर वेद सविद्याम अक्षसंपदम ॥ २-६६-२१ ॥
'O foremost of the Bharatas, O king, this is indeed our highest duty. For this is the task of the skilled one who knows the art of dice and its techniques.' ॥ 2-66-21 ॥
english translation
etata kRtyatamaM rAjanna asmAkaM bharatarSabha ayaM hi zakunira veda savidyAma akSasaMpadama ॥ 2-66-21 ॥
