न हि मुच्येत जीवन मे पदा भूमिम उपस्पृशन मर्त्यधर्मा परामृश्य पाञ्चाल्या मूर्धजान इमान ॥ २-६२-३४ ॥

sanskrit

'Otherwise, who among the mortals, touching the earth with their feet, would escape with their life after having touched the locks of the princess of Panchala?' ॥ 2-62-34 ॥

english translation

na hi mucyeta jIvana me padA bhUmima upaspRzana martyadharmA parAmRzya pAJcAlyA mUrdhajAna imAna ॥ 2-62-34 ॥
