महाराज परभवस तवं धनानां; पुरा दयूतान मनसा यावद इच्छेः बहु वित्तं पाण्डवांश चेज जयेस तवं; किं तेन सयाद वसु विन्देह पार्थान ॥ २-५६-९ ॥
'O great king, you are already a source of immense wealth. You can acquire as much wealth through other means as you seek to gain by gambling. Why seek to gain mere wealth from the Pandavas?' ॥ 2-56-9 ॥
