[व] इत्य उक्तः शकुनिः पराह जितम इत्य एव तं नृपम ॥ २-५४-३ ॥
'Vaiśampāyana continued, "Upon hearing this, Shakuni spoke to Yudhishthira, the eldest of the Pandavas and the noble chief of the Kuru lineage, saying, 'Behold, I have won!'"' ॥ 2-54-3 ॥
