इच्छतां किल नामाहं जीवाम्य एषां महीक्षिताम यॊ ऽहं न गणयाम्य एतांस तृणानीव नराधिपान ॥ २-४१-२५ ॥
'Indeed, I live at the mercy of these earthly rulers, yet I consider these kings to be no more significant than a mere straw.' ॥ 2-41-25 ॥
english translation
icchatAM kila nAmAhaM jIvAmya eSAM mahIkSitAma yò 'haM na gaNayAmya etAMsa tRNAnIva narAdhipAna ॥ 2-41-25 ॥
