इच्छतां पार्थिवेन्द्राणां भीष्म जीवस्य असंशयम लॊकविद्विष्ट कर्मा हि नान्यॊ ऽसति भवता समः ॥ २-४१-२३ ॥
'Indeed, you live solely at the pleasure of these kings. Engaged in actions contrary to the opinions of all, there is none like you!' ॥ 2-41-23 ॥
english translation
icchatAM pArthivendrANAM bhISma jIvasya asaMzayama lòkavidviSTa karmA hi nAnyò 'sati bhavatA samaH ॥ 2-41-23 ॥
