ततः स कथयाम आस दृष्ट्वा हंसस्य किल्बिषम तेषां परमदुःखार्तः स पक्षी सर्वपक्षिणाम ॥ २-३८-३६ ॥
'Seeing the sinfulness of the swan, the bird, overwhelmed with great sorrow for all the birds, spoke to them about what he had witnessed.' ॥ 2-38-36 ॥

tataH sa kathayAma Asa dRSTvA haMsasya kilbiSama teSAM paramaduHkhArtaH sa pakSI sarvapakSiNAma ॥ 2-38-36 ॥
