सवयं बरह्मत्वम अकरॊत तस्य सत्यवती सुतः धनंजयानाम ऋषभः सुसामा सामगॊ ऽभवत ।। २-३०-३४ ।।

sanskrit

'The son of Satyavati, Vyasa, himself became the Brahma of that sacrifice, while Susaman, the bull of the Dhananjaya race, chanted the Vedic (Sama) hymns.' ।। 2-30-34 ।।

english translation

savayaM barahmatvama akaròta tasya satyavatI sutaH dhanaMjayAnAma RSabhaH susAmA sAmagò 'bhavata || 2-30-34 ||
