दण्डं च दण्डधारं च विजित्य पृथिवीपतीन तैर एव सहितः सर्वैर गिरिव्रजम उपाद्रवत ॥ २-२७-१५ ॥
'On his way, he subdued the monarchs known as Danda and Dandadhara. Accompanied by these kings, the son of Pandu then marched towards Girivraja.' ॥ 2-27-15 ॥
