पूर्वं कुणिन्द विषये वशे चक्रे महीपतीन धनंजयॊ महाबाहुर नातितीव्रेण कर्मणा ॥ २-२३-१३ ॥
'First, in the region of Kuninda, the mighty-armed Dhananjaya Brought the kings under control, without excessively severe action.' ॥ 2-23-13 ॥
