देवतार्थम उपाकृत्य राज्ञः कृष्ण कथं भयात अहम अद्य विमुञ्चेयं कषात्रं वरतम अनुस्मरन ॥ २-२०-२७ ॥
'Having assembled these monarchs to offer them as sacrifices to the gods, O Krishna, how can I release them today out of fear, especially when I remember the duty of a Kshatriya?' ॥ 2-20-27 ॥

devatArthama upAkRtya rAjJaH kRSNa kathaM bhayAta ahama adya vimuJceyaM kaSAtraM varatama anusmarana ॥ 2-20-27 ॥
