स ताभ्यां शुशुभे राजा पत्नीभ्यां मनुजाधिप परियाभ्याम अनुरूपाभ्यां करेणुभ्याम इव दविपः ॥ २-१६-१८ ॥
'The sovereign of the earth, accompanied by his two beloved wives who both suited him well, lived joyfully, like a powerful elephant amidst two cow-elephants.' ॥ 2-16-18 ॥
english translation
sa tAbhyAM zuzubhe rAjA patnIbhyAM manujAdhipa pariyAbhyAma anurUpAbhyAM kareNubhyAma iva davipaH ॥ 2-16-18 ॥
