तं स राजा महाप्राज्ञ संश्रित्य किल सर्वशः राजन सेनापतिर जातः शिशुपालः परतापवान ।। २-१३-९ ।।

'O monarch, endowed with great energy, King Shishupala has placed himself under his protection and has become the commander-in-chief of his forces.' ।। 2-13-9 ।।

english translation

taM sa rAjA mahAprAjJa saMzritya kila sarvazaH rAjana senApatira jAtaH zizupAlaH paratApavAna || 2-13-9 ||
