भगदत्तॊ महाराज वृद्धस तव पितुः सखा स वाचा परणतस तस्य कर्मणा चैव भारत ॥ २-१३-१४ ॥

'Bhagadatta, who rules the west like another Varuna, and is known as the old friend of your father, has outwardly pledged allegiance to Jarasandha both in word and deed.' ॥ 2-13-14 ॥

english translation

bhagadattò mahArAja vRddhasa tava pituH sakhA sa vAcA paraNatasa tasya karmaNA caiva bhArata ॥ 2-13-14 ॥
