अभिप्रायेण पार्थानां कृष्णस्य च महात्मनः पुण्ये ऽहनि महातेजाः कृतकौतुक मङ्गलः ॥ २-१-१७ ॥
'By the desires of both Krishna and the sons of Pritha, the illustrious Danava, possessing great prowess, commenced the propitiatory rites for laying the foundation on an auspicious day.' ॥ 2-1-17 ॥
english translation
abhiprAyeNa pArthAnAM kRSNasya ca mahAtmanaH puNye 'hani mahAtejAH kRtakautuka maGgalaH ॥ 2-1-17 ॥
