ब्रह्म ह देवेभ्यो विजिग्ये तस्य ह ब्रह्मणो विजये देवा अमहीयन्त ॥१॥

Certainly, Brahma achieved victory for the gods, in that Brahma's victory the gods became glorified, that is, the gods got glory.

english translation

निश्चय ही, ब्रह्म ने देवताओं के लिए विजय प्राप्त की, उस ब्रह्म की विजय में देवता महिमायुक्त हुए अर्थात देवताओं को गौरव प्राप्त हुआ I

hindi translation

brahma ha devebhyo vijigye tasya ha brahmaNo vijaye devA amahIyanta ||1||
