यत्प्राणेन न प्राणिति येन प्राणः प्रणीयते । तदेव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि नेदं यदिदमुपासते ॥८॥
The Brahma who does not live by breathing, but by whose power the breath comes, you should consider him as Brahma. What the devotees of life consider as Brahma is not Brahma.

जो ब्रह्म श्वास लेकर नहीं जीता, किन्तु जिसकी शक्ति से श्वास आता जाता है, तुम उसी को ब्रह्म समझो । प्राणोपासक जिसको ब्रह्म समझते वह ब्रह्म नहीं हैI
