 यच्चक्षुषा न पश्यति येन चक्षूंषि पश्यति । तदेव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि नेदं यदिदमुपासते ॥६॥

sanskrit

That Brahma which cannot be seen with the eyes but with the help of which these eyes can see - you should know Him as Brahma. The corporeal being that is worshiped is not Brahma. The meaning is that God is formless, without body, without senses, hence He is not visible to the eyes.

 yaccakSuSA na pazyati yena cakSUMSi pazyati | tadeva brahma tvaM viddhi nedaM yadidamupAsate ||6||

hk transliteration

यच्छ्रोत्रेण न शृणोति येन श्रोत्रमिदं श्रुतम् । तदेव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि नेदं यदिदमुपासते ॥७॥

sanskrit

Which cannot be heard by the ears, but by whose power the ears can hear. That is, you should consider the one who has given the power of hearing to the ears as Brahma, the one who is worshiped with mere words is not Brahma.

yacchrotreNa na zRNoti yena zrotramidaM zrutam | tadeva brahma tvaM viddhi nedaM yadidamupAsate ||7||

hk transliteration

यत्प्राणेन न प्राणिति येन प्राणः प्रणीयते । तदेव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि नेदं यदिदमुपासते ॥८॥

sanskrit

The Brahma who does not live by breathing, but by whose power the breath comes, you should consider him as Brahma. What the devotees of life consider as Brahma is not Brahma.
