ब्रुवन्नप्यन्यशास्त्राणि चतुःषष्टिविवर्जितः । विद्वत्संसदि नात्यर्थं कथासु परिपून्यते ॥ ३५ ॥

sanskrit

"Even if he is expert in all other kinds of knowledge, he who is ignorant of the sixty-four arts is not respected in the assembly of the wise, who are expert in the three kinds of wisdom."

english translation

जो नायक अन्य शास्त्रों का विशेषज्ञ होते हुए भी चौंसठ कामकलाओं को नहीं जानता यह विद्वानों की धर्म, अर्थ और कामविषयक गोडियों में सम्मान नहीं प्राप्त कर सकता ॥ ३५ ॥
