महाकुलेषु सापत्नकैर्बाध्यमाना विद्विष्टाः दुःखिताः परित्यक्ताश्च दृश्यन्ते॥ ६ ॥
In the greatest families, one sees women secluded and ill-treated as a result of the hostility and intrigues of the other wives.

नायिका को समझाये कि बड़े घरों में सपत्नियों द्वारा पीड़ित, विद्वेष का शिकार बनी, दुःखी और पतिपरित्यक्ता स्त्रियाँ भी देखी जाती हैं ॥ ६ ॥
