वासकपाल्यस्तु यस्यावासको यस्याश्चातीतो यस्याश्च ऋतुस्तत्परिचारिकानुगता दिवा शय्योत्थितस्य राज्ञस्ताभ्यां प्रहितमङ्गुलीयकाङ्कमनुलेपनमृतुं वासकं च निवेदयेयुः ।। ६३ ।।
The assistants of the king's pleasures choose those who are ready for love, sending away with the servants those of whom it is not the turn and those who are menstruating. In the afternoon, after the king has arisen, they prepare the love chamber and send him those of the queens whose turn it is, who have sent him ointments marked with their name.

सम्भोग के लिये निवेदन-व्यवस्था - वासकपाली (अन्तःपुर में राजा के भोगविलास का प्रबन्ध करने वाली) को चाहिये कि जिस अन्तःपुरिका की सम्भोग की पारी हो, जिसकी पारी किसी कारणवश निकल गयी हो, और ऋतुमती हुई हो, उन सबकी परिचारिकाओं को साथ लेकर, दिन में भोजन के पश्चात् राजा के सोकर उठने पर, उन उन रानियों द्वारा भेजी गयी नामांकित अँगूठी, कुंकुम के अनुलेपन तथा वासक भेंट करें ॥ ६३ ॥
