न गुरोरधिकं तत्त्वं न गुरोरधिकं तपः । तत्त्वज्ञानात् परं नास्ति तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥ ११ ॥

sanskrit

I bow to the Guru who embodies the highest principle and the greatest austerity, and who is the embodiment of the supreme knowledge of the soul.

english translation

मैं उस गुरु को नमस्कार करता हूँ जो सर्वोच्च सिद्धांत और महानतम तपस्या का प्रतीक है, तथा जो आत्मा के सर्वोच्च ज्ञान का साकार स्वरूप है।

hindi translation

na guroradhikaM tattvaM na guroradhikaM tapaH | tattvajJAnAt paraM nAsti tasmai zrIgurave namaH || 11 ||
