आयुः कर्मच वित्तं च विद्या निधनमेव च । पञ्चैतानि हि सृज्यन्तेगर्भस्थस्यैव देहिनः ॥१II

These things are decided in the mother's womb itself, how many years a person will live, what kind of work he will do, how much property he will have and when will he die.

english translation

यह बातें माता के गर्भ में ही निश्चित हो जाती है, मनुष्य कितने वर्ष जीवित रहेगा, वह किस प्रकार के कर्म करेगा, उसके पास कितनी संपत्ति होगी और उसकी मृत्यु कब होगी।
