उर्व्यां कोऽपि महीधरो लघुतरो दोर्भ्यां धृतो लीलया तेन त्वं दिवि भूतले च सततं गोवर्धनो गीयसे । त्वां त्रैलोक्यधरं वहामि कुचयोरग्रे न तद्गण्यते किं वा केशव भाषणेन बहुना पुण्यैर्ण्यशो लभ्यते ॥१९॥

If you spontaneously hold a very small mountain in your hands on earth, you are called Govardhan both in heaven and on earth. But I, the Lord of the three worlds, hold you only in the arms of my shoulders, yet I am not counted anywhere. Hey Keshav! Needless to say a lot, fame comes from good deeds.

पृथ्वी पर किसी बहुत छोटे पर्वत को हाथों में अनायास ही धारण करने पर आप स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी दोनों में गोवर्धन कहलाते हो। परन्तु मैं तीनो लोकों के स्वामी आपको केवल कुचों के अग्रभार में धारण करता हूँ, तब भी मुझे कहीं नहीं गिना जाता। हे केशव ! बहुत कहने से क्या, पुण्यों से यश मिलता है।
