That householder is useless who does not show respect to a tired and weary guest who has come suddenly from a distance. A householder who eats dinner without entertaining his guests is like a Chandala.

Blessed is that man who, while crossing the ocean of this world, took refuge in a true Brahmin. His shelter served as a boat. He is not like those passengers who run the risk of drowning on board an ordinary ship.
