मुहूर्तमपि जीवेच्च नरः शुक्लेन कर्मणा । न कल्पमपि कष्टेन लोकद्वयविरोधिना ॥१॥

By doing good deeds, the life of human beings for a moment is still the best, but living for a Kalpa with the enemies of both the worlds is also not the best.

english translation

उत्तम कर्म से मनुष्यों का मुहूर्त भर का जीन अभी श्रेष्ठ, परन्तु दोनों लोकों के विरोधी से कल्प भर का जीना भी उत्तम नहीं है।
