विषादप्यमृतं ग्राह्यममेध्यादपि काञ्चनम्। नीचादप्यत्तमां विद्यां स्त्रीरत्नं दुष्कुलादपि॥१६॥

इन चार चीजो को हमेशा याद रखे - यदि विष में से भी अमृत निकालना संभव हो तो उसे निकल लें, यदि सोना गन्दगी में भी पड़ा हो तो भी उसे धो कर अपनायें, ज्ञान यदि निचले कुल में जन्मे व्यक्ति से मिले चाहे वह दूषित कुल की कन्या से ही क्यों न हो उसे ग्रहण कर ले चाहिए।

स्त्रीणां द्विगुण अहारो लज्जा चापि चतुर्गुणा। साहसं षड्गुणं चैव कामश्चाष्टगुणः स्मृतः॥१७॥
