विषादप्यमृतं ग्राह्यममेध्यादपि काञ्चनम्। नीचादप्यत्तमां विद्यां स्त्रीरत्नं दुष्कुलादपि।।१६।।

Always remember these four things - if it is possible to extract nectar from poison, then extract it, even if gold is lying in dirt, wash it and adopt it, if knowledge comes from a person born in a lower clan, even if he is from a contaminated clan, Even if it is from a girl, it should be accepted.

english translation

इन चार चीजो को हमेशा याद रखे - यदि विष में से भी अमृत निकालना संभव हो तो उसे निकल लें, यदि सोना गन्दगी में भी पड़ा हो तो भी उसे धो कर अपनायें, ज्ञान यदि निचले कुल में जन्मे व्यक्ति से मिले चाहे वह दूषित कुल की कन्या से ही क्यों न हो उसे ग्रहण कर ले चाहिए।

स्त्रीणां द्विगुण अहारो लज्जा चापि चतुर्गुणा। साहसं षड्गुणं चैव कामश्चाष्टगुणः स्मृतः।।१७।।

महिलाओं में पुरुषों की तुलना में भूख दो गुना होती है, लज्जा चार गुना होती है, साहस छः गुना होता है और और काम आठ गुना होता है।
