धानासञ्ज्ञास्तुयेभक्ष्याःप्रायस्तेलेखनात्मकाः। शुष्कत्वात्तर्पणाश्चैवविष्टम्भित्वाच्चदुर्जराः ॥२६६॥
The barley preparation known as dhana is generally considered a revulsant. It is nourishing because of its dryness and is difficult to digest owing to its delaying tendency in the intestines.
