कषायमधुरंरूक्षंविद्याद्वासन्तिकंजलम्। ग्रैष्मिकंत्वनभिष्यन्दिजलमित्येवनिश्चयः॥ ऋतावृताविहाख्याताःसर्वएवाम्भसोगुणाः ॥२०६॥
Spring water is to be considered to be an astringent, is sweet and dry. Summer water is not greasy (anabhishyandi). Thus, the properties of water according to each and every season have been studied by sages and described here.
