Charak Samhita
सा यद्यदिच्छेत्तत्तदस्यै दद्यादन्यत्र गर्भोपघातकरेभ्यो भावेभ्यः ॥१७॥
As the wishes of the fetus are expressed through the mother, all wishes of mother should be fulfilled. What-so-ever she desires during this period should be provided except the substances likely to injure the fetus.
english translation
sA yadyadicchettattadasyai dadyAdanyatra garbhopaghAtakarebhyo bhAvebhyaH ॥17॥
