Charak Samhita
त्रिफलायाः कषायेण ससर्पिर्मधुफाणितः। लोध्रचूर्णयुतः सिद्धो लेहः श्रेष्ठो विरेचने॥१२॥
kashaya (decoction) of tilvaka is prepared which is added with powder of trivrita (Operculina turpethum(L)Silva Manso.) and jaggery. This is cooked over the mild fire.
english translation
triphalAyAH kaSAyeNa sasarpirmadhuphANitaH। lodhracUrNayutaH siddho lehaH zreSTho virecane॥12॥
