Charak Samhita
तं लेहं योजयेच्छीतं त्रिवृच्चूर्णेन शास्त्रवित् । एतदुत्सन्नपित्तानामीश्वराणां विरेचनम् ॥२७॥
When it is cooled, powdered Trivrita is to be added to it by experts (in the field of such preparations) and made into linctus. This preparation is highly useful as a purgative for those persons, who are having excessively aggravated pitta dosha and who are from the upper classes of the society.
