Charak Samhita
जीवकर्षभकेक्षूणां शतावर्या रसेन वा। पित्तश्लेष्मज्वरे दद्याद्वातपित्तज्वरेऽथवा॥१२॥
In fever due to Pitta –and-kapha or Vata-and-Pitta, the powder of Jimutaka should be administered with the juice of one of the four drugs viz. Jivaka, Rushabhaka, Ikshu or Shatavari.
