Charak Samhita
आमाशयसमुत्थाना यस्य स्यात् परिकर्तिका। भिन्नं पुरीषं तृष्णा च सद्यः प्राणाञ्जहाति सः ॥१६॥
The patient having cutting pain originated from amashaya (stomach including the small-intestine) suffers from diarrhea and thirst, dies instantly.
english translation
AmAzayasamutthAnA yasya syAt parikartikA। bhinnaM purISaM tRSNA ca sadyaH prANAJjahAti saH ॥16॥
