अभिसन्ने शरीरे तु यक्ष्मिणो विषमाशनात्। कण्ठात्प्रवर्तते रक्तं श्लेष्मा चोत्क्लिष्टसञ्चितः ॥५७॥
[Rakta shthivana (hemoptysis)] In the emaciated condition of rajayakshma patients’ indulgence in irregular diet causes expectoration of blood. The kapha too, having been vitiated, is expectorated from the throat.
