शुष्यतां क्षीणमांसानां कल्पितानि विधानवित्। दद्यान्मांसादमांसानि बृंहणानि विशेषतः ॥१४९॥
[Importance of meat in emaciation] The patient who are emaciated and depleted with mamsa dhatu (flesh), should be prescribed with dishes of the meats of carnivorous animals intended for special nourishment therapy.
