तपोविघ्नाशनाः कर्तुं तपोविघ्नं महात्मनः। पश्यन् समर्थश्चोपेक्षां चक्रे दक्षः प्रजापतिः ॥१६॥
Daksha Prajapati was capable of combating these demons but he ignored his duties of opposing those demons and further organized a yajna (ritual of sacrifice) in which he did not offer any share to Lord Shiva in spite of being told to do so by the other lords.
