तृण्मोहदन्तहर्षप्रसेकवमथक्लमा भवन्त्याद्ये । वेगे रसप्रदोषादसृक्प्रदोषाद्द्वितीये तु ॥१८॥

॥ Stage wise clinical features in humans॥ In human beings, the effects of poisons are manifested in eight different stages as follows: In the first stage, because of the vitiation of rasa dhatu, the patient suffers from morbid thirst, unconsciousness, tingling sensation in teeth, salivation, vomiting and mental fatigue;
