Charak Samhita
लिह्यान्मरिचचूर्णं वा सघृतक्षौद्रशर्करम् । बदरीपत्रकल्कं वा घृतभृष्टं ससैन्धवम् ॥१८०॥
The powder of maricha should be given with ghrita, madhu and sharkara. Badara leaves should be fried with ghee and this given with saindhava lavana.
english translation
lihyAnmaricacUrNaM vA saghRtakSaudrazarkaram । badarIpatrakalkaM vA ghRtabhRSTaM sasaindhavam ॥180॥
