पौष्करारग्वधं मूलं पटोलं तैर्निशास्थितम् | जलं मधुयुतं पेयं कालेष्वन्नस्य वा त्रिषु ||१११||

Drinks such as madhu, amala rasa, warm water, butter milk or harmless madya are preferred in kaphaja kasa. Roots of pushkaramoola, argwadha, patola, tinisha should be kept in water for whole night. Next morning water should be strained out and added with madhu. This should be taken before, during and after food.
