पक्षादूर्ध्वं भवेत् पेया ततो मात्रा यथाबलम्। अस्याभ्यासादरिष्टस्य गुदजा यान्ति सङ्क्षयम्॥१४१॥
It should be given in an apropriate dose depending upon the strength of the patient. By the regular intake of this arista, hemorrhoids get cured. This effective recipe is called abhayarishta.

pakSAdUrdhvaM bhavet peyA tato mAtrA yathAbalam। asyAbhyAsAdariSTasya gudajA yAnti saGkSayam॥141॥

anorexia, jaundice, leucoderma, krimi (worm infestation with intestinal parasites), granthi (benign swellings), arbuda (tumours), vyanga (freckles), tuberculosis and fever. It promotes strength, complexion and digestive power.

॥ Dantyarishta॥ Roots of danti (Baliospermum montanum), chitraka (Plumbego zylenicum) and dasamoola should be taken one pala each, should be boiled by adding two dronas of water.

To this, fruit pulp of triphala, (three palas) should be added. It should be boiled till one fourth remains. The decoction should be strained through a cloth and cooled.
