पक्षादूर्ध्वं भवेत् पेया ततो मात्रा यथाबलम्। अस्याभ्यासादरिष्टस्य गुदजा यान्ति सङ्क्षयम्॥१४१॥

दन्ती चित्रक मूलानामुभयोः पञ्चमूलयोः। भागान् पलांशानापोथ्य जलद्रोणे विपाचयेत्॥१४४॥
[Dantyarishta] Roots of danti (Baliospermum montanum), chitraka (Plumbego zylenicum) and dasamoola should be taken one pala each, should be boiled by adding two dronas of water.

त्रिपलं त्रिफलायाश्च दलानां तत्र दापयेत्। रसे चतुर्थ शेषे तु पूते शीते समावपेत्॥१४५॥
To this, fruit pulp of triphala, (three palas) should be added. It should be boiled till one fourth remains. The decoction should be strained through a cloth and cooled.
