बृहस्पतौ हन्ति पुरःस्थिते सितः सितं समस्तं द्विजगोसुरालयान् । दिशं च पूर्वां करकासृजो अम्बुदा गले गदा भूरि भवेच्च शारदम् ॥ ९-४२ ॥

If the course of Jupiter should just precede that of Venus, he will destroy objects that are white, the Brāhmaṇas, cows and temples; the east will suffer; there will be a fall of hail from the clouds and diseases of the neck; the crops of Śarat will thrive well.

english translation

bRhaspatau hanti puraHsthite sitaH sitaM samastaM dvijagosurAlayAn । dizaM ca pUrvAM karakAsRjo ambudA gale gadA bhUri bhavecca zAradam ॥ 9-42 ॥
