न मित्रभावे सुहृदो व्यवस्थिताः क्रियासु सम्यग्न रता द्विजातयः । न चाल्पं अप्यम्बु ददाति वासवो भिनत्ति वज्रेण शिरांसि भूभृताम् ॥ ९-३९ ॥

Friends will cease to be friends; the Brahmins will cease to perform religious ceremonies properly; there will be no rain; and mountains will be riven asunder thunderbolts.

english translation

na mitrabhAve suhRdo vyavasthitAH kriyAsu samyagna ratA dvijAtayaH । na cAlpaM apyambu dadAti vAsavo bhinatti vajreNa zirAMsi bhUbhRtAm ॥ 9-39 ॥
