शतभिषजि शौण्डिकानां अजैकभे द्यूतजीविनां पीडां । कुरुपाञ्चालानां अपि करोति चास्मिन्सितः सलिलम् ॥ ९-३४ ॥

if venus should enter the constellation of Śatabhiṣaja, drunkards or dealers in liquor will suffer; if she should enter the constellation of Pūrvabhādra, gamblers will suffer as well as the Kauravas and the Pāñcālas, and there will be rain in the land.

english translation

zatabhiSaji zauNDikAnAM ajaikabhe dyUtajIvinAM pIDAM । kurupAJcAlAnAM api karoti cAsminsitaH salilam ॥ 9-34 ॥
