त्रिष्व् आद्यवर्षेषु निकामवर्षी देवी निरातङ्क भयश् च लोकः । अब्दद्वये अन्त्ये अपि समा सुवृष्टिः किन्त्वत्र रोगाः समरऽगमश्च ॥ ८-३२ ॥

In the first three of the above five years there will be abundance of rain and mankind will be freed from fears and anxieties; in the last two years the rainfall will be moderate but disease and wars will afflict mankind.

english translation

triSv AdyavarSeSu nikAmavarSI devI nirAtaGka bhayaz ca lokaH । abdadvaye antye api samA suvRSTiH kintvatra rogAH samara'gamazca ॥ 8-32 ॥
