आषाढे जायन्ते सस्यानि क्व चिदवृष्टिरन्यत्र । योगक्षेमं मध्यं व्यग्राश्च भवन्ति भूपालाः ॥ ८-११ ॥
In the Āṣāḍha year of Jupiter, there will be crops here and there and drought in other places, mankind will not be very happy and rulers will be afflicted with cares.
english translation
ASADhe jAyante sasyAni kva cidavRSTiranyatra । yogakSemaM madhyaM vyagrAzca bhavanti bhUpAlAH ॥ 8-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्रावणवर्षे क्षेमं सम्यक्सस्यानि पाकं उपयान्ति । क्षुद्रा ये पाखण्डाः पीड्यन्ते ये च तद्भक्ताः ॥ ८-१२ ॥
In the Śrāvaṇa year of Jupiter, mankind will be happy and crops will thrive and ripen well; wicked men and impostors will suffer with their followers.
english translation
zrAvaNavarSe kSemaM samyaksasyAni pAkaM upayAnti । kSudrA ye pAkhaNDAH pIDyante ye ca tadbhaktAH ॥ 8-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभाद्रपदे वल्लीजं निष्पत्तिं याति पूर्वसस्यं च । न भवत्यपरं सस्यं क्व चित्सुभिक्षं क्वचिच्च भयम् ॥ ८-१३ ॥
In the Bhādrapada year of Jupiter, the produce of creepers will thrive as well as the first crops; but the second crops will fail and there will be prosperity in some places and fear here and there.
english translation
bhAdrapade vallIjaM niSpattiM yAti pUrvasasyaM ca । na bhavatyaparaM sasyaM kva citsubhikSaM kvacicca bhayam ॥ 8-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआश्वयुजे अब्दे अजस्रं पतति जलं प्रमुदिताः प्रजाः क्षेमम् । प्राणचयः प्राणभृतां सर्वेषां अन्नबाहुल्यम् ॥ ८-१४ ॥
In the Āśvayuja year of Jupiter, the rainfall will be incessant; mankind will be happy and prosperous; all living creatures will grow strong and food supply will be abundant.
english translation
Azvayuje abde ajasraM patati jalaM pramuditAH prajAH kSemam । prANacayaH prANabhRtAM sarveSAM annabAhulyam ॥ 8-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउदगारोग्यसुभिक्षक्षेमकरो वाक्पतिश्चरन्भानाम् । याम्ये तद्विपरीतो मध्येन तु मध्यफलदायी ॥ ८-१५ ॥
When Jupiter passes through the northern path, there will be health and happiness in the land; when he passes through the southern path, the reverse of these will be the case; and when he passes through the middle path, there will be neither much of the former nor much of the latter.

udagArogyasubhikSakSemakaro vAkpatizcaranbhAnAm । yAmye tadviparIto madhyena tu madhyaphaladAyI ॥ 8-15 ॥
